NOW you have the chance to get your hands on wines from the most famous wine region in the world, namely Bordeaux. The markets around the Garonne river produce some of the best and most expensive wine you can get your hands on.

The Garonne river divides Bordeaux into right and left banks. On the right are wines from Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, which primarily produce wine based on the Merlot grape (with Cabernet Sauvignon as second fiddle).
On the other hand, Cabernet Sauvignon is the dominant grape on the left bank (with Merlot as second fiddle), which is dominated by communes such as Haut Medoc, Saint-Estephe, Margaux, Saint-Julien and Pauillac. These are the wines from the left bank, which in 1855 were classified ahead of the World Exhibition in Paris that same year. Read more here!
