Pedesclaux is a clear upcoming slot that you should keep a close eye on. The castle was taken over by new owners in 2008 and a new winemaker joined at the same time. This has raised the standard considerably and today Pedesclaux can be said to live up to the classification as 5th Cru.

For the first time since the takeover, Cabernet dominates the grapes with a clear preponderance. Thus, 65% is Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Cabernet Franc. The rest is made up of 25% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot.

Sublime nose with red fruits combined with musky notes. Fantastic floral tannins, almonds and blackcurrant buds.

16 months in cask - 60% new.

An absolute must for stashes.
