Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin achieves its unique taste from no less than 47 different hand-picked fragrance and flavoring ingredients. The special clean and soft water in the Black Forest gives this luxury gin an extra quality factor to boast about.
After the distillate has absorbed aroma and flavor from the extraction of the aroma and flavoring ingredients, the product is stored in tall stoneware cylinders buried in the ground. This time-consuming and expensive process puts the finishing touch. Storage does not add or change the taste of Monkey 47, but allows the product to settle and find its balance.
Monkey 47 can be enjoyed with tonic, in Sling cocktails, Martinis or Gimlets. The aroma and taste are full of distinct juniper berries, crisp and essential citrus oils, sweet flowers, pepper and other dark spice notes and cranberry freshness and bitterness. It all comes together in an unmatched balance and complexity.
