Lokale Rødder are kettle-cooked potato chips prepared in small batches. We collaborate with small, passionate potato farmers and strive to make flavorful potato chips with a bit of an edge and character. Vinegar & Wild Garlic is their first variety and their careful attempt to give the British classic a slightly more Nordic expression.
Lokale Rødder was founded in 2015 by two childhood friends from Bornholm, Christian and Magnus – an inventive historian and a skilled chef – when the former challenged the latter to make the world's best potato chips.
