A.H.Riise XO Thin Blue Line Rum – Developed in collaboration with the voluntary association The Thin Blue Line Denmark, which is founded and run non-profit by rank-and-file police employees.

It is the support association The Thin Blue Line that, together with rum producer A.H. Riise, has created this very special rum for the cause.

The Thin Blue Line Denmark supports and collaborates with the Police Veterans association (Politiveteranerne). Police veterans are police officers who have been dismissed or who have resigned from their positions themselves. What they all have in common is that they have been seriously mentally or physically injured in connection with the performance of their job in the police force.

A.H. Riise has chosen to support this good cause and has entered into a partnership with The Thin Blue Line. Together, they have created a very special, exclusive rum: A.H. Riise The Thin Blue Line Denmark. The rum is an X.O. Reserve Rum. It is a blend created specifically for the support association and is extremely tasty.

By purchasing this bottle of rum, you support the association's future financial efforts to help police officers who have been seriously injured in the performance of their job in the police force. People and families who have paid a high price for looking after Danish society.

On the nose, there are notes of honey and old leather. The floral notes are toned down, but instead, we are reminded of warm winter spices and mild tobacco.

On the palate, there is a wondrous mildness, fantastic roundness devoid of sharp edges. We taste cloves and English liquorice, and here too we get honey. This is a rum that really strokes you the right way. Leaving a long and warm aftertaste.
