History and context:
This rum is part of the “Royal Danish Navy” series from A.H. Riise / Old St. Croix, which pays tribute to life at sea and the maritime Danish heritage. The blend was created in collaboration with the cadet association at the Royal Danish Naval Academy, founded in 1701.
The description draws on the image of “heavy bronze cannons” and life on deck to convey the atmosphere.
Usage:
Enjoy it at room temperature to bring out its full complexity. It is perfect as a gift for the rum lover or for a special glass after dinner.
Serving suggestion:
This rum stands strong on its own, but can also be used in an elegant rum cocktail with a little citrus or mint to highlight the green notes.
