2020 Gran Feudo Castilla del Guapo Garnacha, Navarra
A classic Spanish Garnacha – full-bodied, fruity, and spicy with a silky-smooth balance
History and Winery
Gran Feudo was founded in the 1970s by the traditional winemaking family Chivite – one of Navarra's most renowned houses. The Castilla del Guapo series represents modern Spanish winemaking with a focus on terroir and authenticity. The wine is crafted in northern Navarra, where the cool Atlantic climate meets warm Mediterranean influences, giving the Garnacha grape its juicy fruit and elegant spice. Since its inception, Gran Feudo has worked sustainably and takes pride in highlighting the region's natural character and freshness.
Grapes and Vinification
- 100% Garnacha – known for its intense fruit and soft tannins
- Grapes are hand-harvested from high-altitude vineyards in Navarra
- Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness
- Short maturation in French and American oak barrels for complexity and roundness
Terroir and Origin
Region: Navarra, Northern Spain
