2022 Viña Salceda Crianza, Rioja
Elegant and classic Rioja Crianza – balanced between ripe fruit, spiced oak, and a silky texture
History and Winery
Viña Salceda was founded in 1969 in Elciego, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa – the most elegant and cool-climate part of Rioja. From the beginning, the estate's philosophy has been to create wines with freshness, finesse, and pure fruit. Salceda combines traditional barrel aging with modern vinification to highlight the character of the Tempranillo grape. Today, the winery is part of the Bodegas Chivite Group, which is known for its uncompromising quality and sustainable approach. This Crianza edition represents the winery's signature style – a classic Rioja with a modern, elegant touch.
