About the product
Château Latour à Pomerol is one of the most respected estates in Pomerol and is owned by the famous Jean-Pierre Moueix family, who are also behind several of the area’s most iconic châteaux. The vineyards are located on the famous Pomerol plateau, with clay and gravel soils that create ideal growing conditions for Merlot.
The 2019 vintage is primarily made from Merlot with a small addition of Cabernet Franc. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with great precision, after which the wine is aged in French oak barrels. The result is a refined Pomerol with great depth, silky tannins, and a remarkable balance between ripe fruit, freshness, and terroir.
