A classic Rioja Reserva – elegant, deep, and perfectly balanced with ripe fruit and spicy complexity
History and Winery
Viña Salceda was established in 1969 in Elciego, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa – an area known for its calcareous soils and elegant wines. The estate was among the first to focus exclusively on Rioja wines and has earned a reputation over the decades for its precision and classic style. Today, the winery is operated as part of the Bodegas Chivite Group, combining traditional Rioja philosophy with modern technology and sustainable methods.
