Grapes and Vinification

This wine is produced from 100% Chardonnay, a grape variety synonymous with the finest white wines of Burgundy.

The grapes are sourced from the Premier Cru vineyards of Montagny and are hand-harvested to ensure optimal ripeness. Following a gentle pressing, the wine ferments in French oak barrels, where a portion of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to provide a creamy texture and complexity.

Terroir and Origin

Montagny is located in the Côte Chalonnaise in southern Burgundy and is known for its calcareous soils, which contribute to the wine’s characteristic minerality and finesse. The climate is ideal for Chardonnay, resulting in wines with both freshness and depth.
