Château Lilian Ladouys ligger i den nordlige del af Médoc og blev klassificeret som Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel i 2020. Ejendommen ejes af Jacky Lorenzetti, som også ejer dele af Château d’Issan og Pédesclaux. Siden overtagelsen har vinen oplevet et markant kvalitetsløft. 2014 er en klassisk årgang, som viser både friskhed og struktur – typisk for Saint-Estèphe’s terroir.

55 % Merlot, 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 5 % Petit Verdot

Farve:
Mørk rubinrød med begyndende modning – elegant og klar.

Duft:
Kompleks og udtryksfuld næse med noter af solbær, skovbær, cedertræ og mokka. Subtile nuancer af læder og krydderier udvikler sig med luft.

Smag:
Medium fyldig med frisk syre og faste, men modne tanniner. Smagen er klassisk Bordeaux med mørk frugt, tobak, lidt lakrids og en mineralsk kant. Saint-Estèphe-stilen viser sig i vinens struktur og tørre, elegante afslutning.

Eftersmag:
Lang og balanceret eftersmag med noter af frugt, eg og urter – vin i smuk udvikling.

Servering:
Serveres ved 17–18°C. Dekantering i 30–60 minutter anbefales for at åbne vinens bouquet.

Madmatch:
God til oksekød, gryderetter, vildt, and og hårde oste. Matcher også retter med rosmarin og timian.

Lagringspotentiale:
Drikkeklar nu, men kan gemmes frem til ca. 2030.
