2003 Vintage Port - QUINTA DO NOVAL
Quinta do Noval Vintage Port is deep ruby red in the glass. Sweet aromas of black cherry, cassis liqueur, licorice, minerals, caramel and violet. Drooling, sweet and supple, with fantastic precision and depth. Like Silval, QDN exhibits a seductively creamy texture. The explosive long finish offers a fine range of ripe and soft tannins and a great openness. Terribly easy to taste because of its finesse, but hard to believe it won't shut down for a period in the near future. This wine is produced on a large percentage of Touriga Nacional.
