2015 Maybach Carbernet Sauvignon Amoenus - the sixth edition of the Maybach Amoenus wines.

The vineyard is located on a hillside on the west side of Calistoga, where moderate temperatures, which are 10-15 degrees cooler than on the east side, allow the grapes to ripen gradually.

This 2015 Amoenus Maybach has a deep purple color, is vibrantly youthful with crushed blackberries, blackcurrants and and notes of thyme, charcoal, and damp earth.

Full-bodied, richly fruity, and packed with lively black fruit. Wonderful freshness and great persistence.
