History and Winery
Azienda Agricola Olivero Mario is a family-owned winery in Piedmont that works with traditional grapes such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. The philosophy is to create wines that respect the region’s terroir and tradition, while modern vinification provides precision and purity. Their Barolo “La Morra” comes from vineyards in the prestigious municipality of La Morra – known for its elegant, perfumed, and silky Barolo wines.
Grapes and Vinification
- 100% Nebbiolo – the grape behind Barolo
- Hand-harvested at the end of October
- Long fermentation and maceration to extract tannin, color, and complexity
- Aged for a minimum of 24 months in large oak barrels (Slavonian oak) and then in the bottle
