This rum is named after the 3rd largest of the British Virgin Islands, Virgin Gorda, which has just over 4,000 inhabitants.

Virgin Gorda has a light golden color and is characterized by a floral aroma and the presence of orange peel in particular. Distinctive notes of bourbon casks, caramel, and intense vanilla. Fleeting orange peel and nuts round off the long finish.

It is blended with rum from Trinidad, Barbados, and Jamaica, distilled in pot stills from molasses-fermented sugar cane. The rum is then aged for 7 years in American oak, and approximately 20% 8-year-old rum is added to the final blend. It is the real deal, as nothing is adjusted with sugar or other additives.

The rum is distilled at The Poshmakers Distillery, which is among the best in London.
