The Macallan is one of Scotland's most iconic distilleries, founded in 1824 in the heart of Speyside. The distillery is renowned for its uncompromising quality, small copper stills, and maturation in carefully selected sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. The Classic Cut series was introduced in 2017 as an annual limited edition, bottled at a high strength to highlight the distillery's signature sherry profile. Release 2025 is yet another chapter in this collector-favorite series, where intensity and complexity go hand in hand.
Ingredients and Distillation
- 100% malted barley from Speyside
- Distilled in small copper stills for rich aroma and concentrated character
- Aged in selected European and American sherry casks from Jerez
- Bottled at 50.6% without chill-filtration for full flavor intensity
