Rémy Martin Louis XIII is the most exclusive cognac in the Rémy Martin range. Rémy Martin Louis XIII contains exclusively grapes from Grande Champagne, where the youngest cognac in the blend has aged 35 years in barrel and the oldest cognac is from the end of the 19th century, giving an average age of 50 years.
Rémy Martin Louis XIII has a dark golden, fiery red mahogany color. The aromas are intensive with notes of walnuts, jasmine, iris, violet, passion fruit, roses, cigar leaves, saffron and nutmeg. The palette is extremely complex with an unusual depth and long aftertaste.
Rémy Martin Louis XIII is bottled in a mouth-blown decanter, inspired by the original version, which was dug up from the ground in 1850 in the neighboring town of Jarnac. The decanter is manufactured today by the reputable company Baccarat.
Rémy Martin Louis XIII is thus the result of 100 years of passionate work and patience, which consists of a unique blend of 1200 rare and aging grapes from Grande Champagne. The taste of Louis XIII is experienced as a palette of intense and delicate aromas with floral notes and undertones of candied fruits and a touch of spicy notes.
