Isle of Fionia Sjæl PX Cask Finish is an organic Danish single malt whisky that has received its final maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The result is an elegant and full-bodied whisky with notes of raisins, dried fruit, dark caramel, chocolate, and warm spices, beautifully balanced by Danish craftsmanship and finesse.
Isle of Fionia Sjæl PX Cask Finish is produced by Nyborg Distillery on Funen and is created with a focus on quality, organic principles, and local identity. The whisky is made from organic malted barley and is aged traditionally before being finished in carefully selected Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The PX casks add extra depth and complexity to the whisky with notes of dried fruits, dark sweetness, and elegant spices. At the same time, the classic single malt character is preserved, providing balance and structure.
At 46% alcohol, the whisky appears full-bodied and aromatic without losing its elegance. The result is a whisky that impresses experienced whisky enthusiasts while also being accessible to new whisky lovers.
Nyborg Distillery is located on Funen and is among the most prominent producers of Danish whisky. The distillery works with local ingredients, sustainable principles, and an ambition to create whisky with a distinct Danish character.
The maritime climate around Funen provides excellent conditions for a slow and harmonious maturation. The combination of Danish craftsmanship and international cask types such as Pedro Ximénez creates whiskies with both local identity and international complexity.
