Highland Park 25 Years was first launched in 1998 and has since experienced great success due to its remarkable complexity. Highland Park 25 years complexity is due, among other things, to the fact that half of the whiskey's maturation time takes place in sherry casks. This is a very expensive manufacturing process compared to American bourbon casks, which is why it is generally used to a lesser extent in whiskey production.
