With the classic flavor notes intact, albeit tamed, this 18-year-old single malt from the Bowmore distillery combines the qualities of smoke and peat with the fullness of fruit, chocolate and a rounded impression of oak. A delicious whiskey which is a good example of the qualities of old Islay whisky.
