Dry Creek Vineyard is located in Sonoma County and was founded in 1972. Dry Creek Vinyard was the first new vineyard to be established in the Dry Creek Vally, and created a renaissance in wine production in the area after it had been banned for a long time.
Today, the vineyard consists of 185 hectares of vineyards and is divided into seven different vineyards, from "The Original" (DCV3), home to the original planting of Sauvignon Blanc - to "Four Clones Vineyard" (DCV2), which represents the latest planting of Zinfandel.
Dry Creek Vineyard is one of the few remaining family-owned vineyards in California. When founder David Stare started Dry Creek Vineyard, he began the winery with a single-minded effort to offer the highest quality wine at a reasonable price. They quickly noticed that it helped keep their customers coming back again and again.
Today, the second generation continues to build on the early values. Today it is the founder's daughter, Kim Stare Wallace, who is at the helm of it all. The goal remains the same: to produce quality wines while paying attention to the original vision of the winery.
