For more than 115 years, the name Sebastiani has been synonymous with high quality wine production in Sonoma County, and since 1922 the Wilson family has grown grapes in Clarksburg, northeast of San Francisco.
This wine was created is created in tribute to the generational change and partnership these two well-regarded wine families have enjoyed. The Crusher is named after the point where the fruits of one family's labor literally give way to the other family.
The Crusher Petite Sirah
The scent is nice and rich with ripe aromas of blackberries, violets and crushed white pepper. Lovely taste of blackberry, black cherry with light notes of vanilla, slightly spicy laurel and exotic barrel notes in the aftertaste. The wine is full with soft rounded tannins, lovely depth and complexity and goes well with grilled meat, spicy pasta dishes or even dark chocolate.
