2022 La Nonciature Rouge, Domaine de la Présidente, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
A striking red Châteauneuf-du-Pape – ripe fruit, spice, and solid structure with aging potential
History and Winery
Domaine de la Présidente is located in the southern Rhône Valley and possesses 20 hectares of vineyards in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, 17 of which are dedicated to red wine. The “La Nonciature” Rouge cuvée is produced from the estate's best plots in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and represents a high level of quality with limited production.
- A blend of classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape grape varieties (e.g., Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre) – these grape varieties are typical for the appellation.
- Hand-harvested grapes from low yields and careful selection
- Vinification in temperature-controlled tanks and maturation in French oak barrels for structure and complexity
