Light ruby red color. Full-bodied and complex on the nose with red berries and blackberries with spicy notes. Soft and elegant on the palate with a wonderful abundance of flavors. The fruity and juicy taste reveals notes of blackcurrant, soft spices, and herbs.

Production

After traditional vinification, the alcohol is extracted from the wine by vacuum distillation in spinning cone columns. This innovative process requires no addition of chemicals or heating. It takes only 30 hours to gently remove the alcohol from the wine. The wine's structure and aromatic quality are thus preserved without the addition of flavorings, ensuring an authentic and natural taste.

For more than a century, Domaine de la Baume has practiced agriculture and crafted enchanting wines with great aromatic potential. Located in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon in the small town of Servian between Béziers and the medieval town of Pézenas, the winery is a source of inspiration. As a true paradise of tranquility surrounded by nature, the vineyard embodies the warmth and liveliness of the south as well as a love for the land. The soil in the vineyard's fields is highly varied. While it consists of small limestone on the slopes, the soil on the plains consists of clay/limestone and sand/clay. This rich terroir makes it possible to create many different wines, ranging from the easy-drinking style to more refined wines. But regardless of the wine, they offer an enormous aromatic variety.
