Porsen is a rare old plant which mainly grows in Jutland.
We pick the green leaves for porse schnapps at the beginning of spring, and the branch with buds on it is collected in autumn/winter.
A characteristic, full and strong taste of fresh porce, but still softly rounded with licorice root.
It is indispensable for the Danish lunch table and also for hot dishes.
