About Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company
Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company was founded in Copenhagen with sommelier Jacob Kocemba as one of the driving forces behind the concept. The idea arose from the desire to create a sparkling drink with the same complexity and gastronomic versatility as wine – but with tea as the central element.
The different teas are brewed individually to draw out the desired aromas and structures before they are assembled into the final blend. In this way, they work with tea on many of the same premises as when a winemaker blends different grape varieties or vineyard plots.
The result is Sparkling Tea: a Danish-developed category of sparkling drinks where tea, fine bubbles, and gastronomic balance are at the center.
