Maker's Mark 46, 47% – 70 cl. Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
An innovative and full-bodied bourbon – perfect for enjoying neat, with a few drops of water, or in a luxurious cocktail
History and Distillery
Maker’s Mark was founded in 1953 in Loretto, Kentucky, and is known for its iconic red wax seal and its smooth, wheat-based recipe. Maker’s Mark 46 was introduced in 2010 as the distillery’s first permanent addition to the range. The name “46” refers to the French oak staves inserted into the barrels during aging – an idea developed in collaboration with Bill Samuels Jr. and master distiller Kevin Smith. The result is a richer and more complex bourbon with deeper spice and sweetness.
