Domaine de la Présidente is a renowned producer in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, an area famous for its great red wines, but also for its impressive whites. The winery is known for producing wines with precision and a clear expression of the terroir. The white wines made here are full-bodied, complex, and age-worthy.
The wine is made from a blend of traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape grapes, such as Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Roussanne. The grapes are harvested by hand from vineyards located on the southern slopes of the region, which provides a natural balance between acidity and ripeness. Fermentation takes place partially in oak barrels to add depth and complexity, followed by aging on the lees, which creates a round and full-bodied structure.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the most prestigious wine regions in the Rhône, known for its great wines that have a fantastic ability to express the terroir. The soil consists primarily of stones and limestone, which gives the wine a distinct minerality and good structure.
