    Father's Day, which always falls on June 5 in Denmark , is a tribute to YOUR everyday hero - your dear father. Who would believe it, but Mother's Day actually existed for 40 years before Sonora Smart Dood in 1910 came up with the idea to celebrate her father as well.

    In Denmark, we first celebrated Father's Day on Constitution Day in 1935. But the date has not always been fixed. In the late 1940s, enterprising traders moved Father's Day to the second Sunday in November, so that it was exactly half a year after Mother's Day. The intention was to move the deal into November, which at the time was the calm before the storm (Christmas).

    However, this did not catch on and the day was moved back to 05 June, Constitution Day, a few years later.

    So to celebrate our fathers' great love, flat jokes, good deeds and the father body in particular, we have gathered below a number of gift suggestions for just your father.
