.... is a typical Piedmont grape which is among the most planted in Italy and goes by the name "people's grape". Primarily used for Barbera d'Alba and Barbera d'Asti and is known for its high acidity, which gives it a ruby red color and aromas of cherries, blackberries and other dark berries.
