2006 Darien Reserva, Rioja
Varieties: Tempranillo / Garnacha / Mazuelo / Graciano (depending on the harvest)
Vinification: The vinification process is similar to the vinification of Darien Crianza, with the exception that after the malolactic fermentation, an exhaustive selection of the more structured wines is done. These structured wines are needed because it will allow the Reserva wine a higher period of ageing in bottle. The cask ageing in French- and American-oak lasts a minimum of twelve months, up to reaching a balance between the fruit and wood, and a total integration of aromas and flavours.
Temperature of service 18º C / 64º F
